K. L. Bernard, the legend of Fort Cochin,
introduced us to the history of Fort Cochin. He is our light and guide. Fort
Cochin Heritage Walk is the collaborated effort of the local community, her historians,
her tourism stakeholders to share her history in all its splendor and glory to
all who visit Fort Cochin. It’s our mission to add to the experience of
tourists, both domestic and international, who visit our ‘heritage city’ in
thousands everyday by offering them an alternative to feel, taste and experience
Fort Cochin in all its realms. With this attempt we hope to assist the
community and the authorities to achieve our common objective of a Cleaner,
Greener , Beautiful Fort Cochin, with all her historical, cultural, traditional
monuments and landmarks intact.
